Summer Fun No. 38, Microphones

My kids love a chance to perform and I love a project that is not only simple and fun to make, but entertaining after its created too.  These microphones are made of a paper towel tube (I cut about 2 inches off the bottom of each) and a small Styrofoam ball.  I spray-painted both and let them dry, then glued the pieces together with craft glue and left them to dry overnight.

The next day the kids went crazy decorating the roll portion with stickers (I don't know about you, but my kids love stickers so using them as decoration was a big deal) and then started singing away!  If only we'd had these ready during the jam session the night before with the cousins.
