Put A Crown On It

Some days are tough...all around...for everyone in the family.  Yesterday was definitely one of those days.  The girls capped off their day with smiles though...and crowns.  In fact, I think the crowns brought out their smiles.  Lucky for them that I got to playing around this weekend and they got a couple of my creations!

I capped off my day with (bad) reality tv, some wine, candy and laundry folding.  But really the only thing that brought out my smiles were these crazy little faces...in their crowns!  Perhaps I should get to work on a grown-up-sized crown?  Maybe not...

What are your tricks for turning your frown upside-down?

those are really lovely and i;m glad they cheered things up for the girls. i think you should have one too...if I had one I would definitely wear it around the house (lol). as far as what I do on stressful days, i try to go to bed early and finish it.

My tried & true tricks are wine/champagne, sugary treats, good book & a blanket, snuggle time with either Lee or my kitties (not necessarily in that order).

Glad things started looking up with the crowns. They're super cute and I adore EJ's smile in the top photo. I'm also mesmerized by Liv's gorgeous blue eyes. I'm guessing it's pretty hard to tell them no when they're looking so cute!

I think you'd look fab in a crown.

Things that we do to cheer up:
Go to the indoor trampoline place - good endorphins for all. Make brownies. Make snow angles (I remeber you don't like snow, but sometimes the white of it all makes my mood better than all the brown and dead.) I try to craft. I try not to vege or eat.

Sorry your day was so crummy - glad today was better. Love seeing those crowns. Prett sure I need a private crochet lessons - maybe my next trip to Milwaukee. :)
