Corner to Corner Baby Blanket

This baby blanket is really all about the gorgeous yarn (and of course I can't remember what yarn it is or find it online anywhere, so if anyone recognizes this variegated baby yarn, please let me know).  This was my first attempt at a corner to corner blanket and it's really a fun and easy stitch (there are a million tutorials to get you started online, just search corner to corner crochet).  It's also easy to make the size you choose on the fly as the blanket takes shape.  I'll definitely be using this stitch again.  The edging is a scallop border that I made up as I went along.

I added this little onesie to the gift because I could not pass up this gorgeous lavender lace.  So pretty!
