Waves Baby Blanket

My friend Nellie had her third, adorably cute, baby recently and so I was again busy crocheting a little gift for her new little girl.  I had always planned to use navy and white (Nellie loves a nautical look) but waited to decide on the pink (or red) based on the gender of the baby.  I love the pink and played with the stripe size and order, but decided on wide, even stripes.

I chose the wave stitch to match up with the nautical colors.  The pattern is the wave stitch with a tulip border.  The yarn is Caron Simply Soft in Neon Pink, White and Dark Country Blue.

Hair Donation #3

She did it again! Nine inches (braided) heading off to Pantene Beautiful Lengths.

This was a crazy hair style we did the day before school photos (while she still had long hair).

Day of school photos

She had her hair cut (thanks Alyson!) right after school on picture day and the next day she looked like this as she headed off to school.  She loves her new short hair (and so do I)!

First Day of School 2015

And they're off!  First, seventh, and third grade.

And then their bad parents took them to the Brewers game to make them super tired for the second day of school.

Totally worth it when you get to meet and snap a pic with Hank!
